Return pump brand...

Any return pumps that are better than others I know there are I just dont know what ones. Sorry to ask so many questions guys i just want to get everything right so i don't have huge problems down the road.

I just switched my sump to a Pentair Quiet One 2200, and have had no problems with it... i dont know if that helps or not...

i like the reef flo pumps and the genX pumps. both are external pumps, so i guess i should ask what you want to run, external or submersible ?? if submersible i like the mag drive pumps.

Id rather do external if its not really expencive.

some of the reef flo pumps are high priced, but the genX pumps are great for the price.

IMO the mag drive pumps are the best.

the mag drives are GREAT pumps, but in my experience ... they are loud when plumbed externally.

Iwaki and Panworld pumps are nice as well. I like the Reeflo's as I run a dart but they are high flow pumps and take large PVC(1.5"/2")

Make sure you size pump on your overflow capacity
