Return Pump Questions

Hello all,

Does anyone have ideas on a return pump for the attached set-up. I have a 600 gph overflow box on a 75g drilled aquarium. I know it is overkill...however I purchased the equipment for the potential to upgrade to a 210-300 gallon system...all thoughts and ideas are much welcomed.

So are you asking about the 75 gallon or the bigger tank?

For the 75g with a 600gph overflow box...I will upgrade pump once I upgrade the tank.

3/4" drain line? I'm running a 700gph overflow with 1.5" drain on my 40b. Not sure how a 600gph overflow is overkill, seeing as how most would run a larger overflow on a 75 (1000-1500gph?). I'm not even sure that 3/4" would run 600gph, in fact, I'm pretty sure it won't. I wouldn't trust 3/4" as the drain with any size pump... JMO
