RO/DI flow

I probably should have checked with you all first. I just got a Coralife 24 gpd RO/DI unit. I seem to have the opposite problem most people do. The waste water trickles out, and the pure water comes out full force. That seemed pretty unlikely to me, so I thought maybe they mixed up the color of the lines, but no. They appear to be hooked up in the proper place. I also ran tests on the water coming out of each line. I don't a have TDS meter (though I'll be getting one now), but the pH from the waste line is 8.5 and the pH from the purified line is 7.0, so I know it's doing something.

So... what's going on with my unit?

I'm not sure. I would look to make sure the RO membrane is seated properly in it's housing. It sounds as if water may be gowing around it rather than through.

Sometning os WRONG. I have a 100GPD unit and the water just trickles out. The waste water runs about 4X faster.

I also think that the problem is in the DI filter.
