S.W.C.D.

does anyone know where I can find a S.W.C.D. that accepts 5/8" I.D. tubing instead of 3/4"? I would love to have one for my cansiter filter so I can have alternating outputs for better circulation and just for the fact of having two outputs

If you mean SCWD, (http://www.aquariumpros.com/p-INNSCWD.html)you can get adapters probably at any hardware store, to downsize the inputs.

They only make a 3/4" SCWD- to the annoyance of many hobbyist, myself included. As Hara said, you'll have to increase to 3/4" before the SCWD. For example you could use a 5/8-1/2" hose barb reducer followed by a 1/2-3/4" reducer to get to the proper size. There may be a more efficient way, thats just a quick thought.

I don't think they make one that goes from 5/8 to 3/4...but you could always look! What amount of flow does yuor canister generate you have to have at least 50gph or it will not work. I have 700gph moving through mine and am pretty happy with the results!
