Scratched glass hellllppppp???

So i walk into my tank room and see my youngest son "helping" Dad clean the tank and i hear this High pitched scratching sound and i look and he has the MAgfloat with a rock caught in it dragging it across the front of the tank. Well it is scratched very bad. is there any way to fix the scratches?

I think you can buff it out with the same product they use on car windshields, I think dewalt makes the product. This means you have to empty the tank and clean it reall good several times. Or you could just empty the tank and flip it around and use the other side if that looks ok.
