searchen amonia monitor
I was about to buy one of these drop in amonia monitors,
when a guy next to me advice not to.he said that their not
accurate at all. I used one for the pass 9 months.who uses one of these? are they to be trusted?

i use one, I don't 100% trust in it, and my tank has only been up a few days,
I still use test strips from time to time. so far it has matched up.
if you see that change then test the water to verify is what i would do, they are made more likey a "dumby light" in the car!!!
Hey look something is wrong!!! the you go to mechanic.

However test strips themselves are usually pretty inaccurate. Your best bet is an API Master test kit

yes as i too would use the API test kit .thay are more accurate as AQURIUM1 has said
