My Sedra 3500 pump that came with my ASM G-1X Skimmer is way too loud. It vibrates the heck out of my acrylic sump.

Anyone know of a good replacement pump for this skimmer?

Got an old mouse pad? Sit it on that and see what happens.

ccCapt (Larry) passed that tip to me awhile ago for my return pump. I siliconed it to the bottom.. no more vibration

Great Idea! I will try that today. Thanks so much for your help on both threads :)

Didn't work :(

It did stop the vibration but I thinkI may just have a bad pump. I took it apart to try and see if there was anything wrong but everything seemed normal. It makes a really bad buzzing noise. Going to let it run for a few days and see if it works itself out but in the meantime is there another pump that people can recommend?

Has anyone used this?
