Skimmer: Now or Later?

Hello, all! I'm about to get my 29 gallon up and running and I have a question. Do I need a skimmer for the cycling process? For water movement during the process, I have an AC HOB and a powerhead. I can buy a skimmer now if I absolutely need one, but I was hoping to save for another couple weeks to get a really good one instead of just buying whichever one I can afford at the moment. What do you think?

You don't need a skimmer while cycling the tank.

You'll be fine without a skimmer but they do help. I'd say wait a while and save for a better unit
