The skimmer is one piece of equipment that you should not skimp on. Most folks like Aqua C series, ASM, Bak-Pak, euro reef (I think that's the name) and a few others.

I am going to split this thread and move the skimmer question to the general equipment hardware section. You should get more advice, as I don't have a skimmer yet.

Not a problem! Since you are doing a 20 G you may want to post in the nano section as well. There are very experienced folks there as well.

If its only 20G then that would work(I may be biased because I just don't like the BAK-PAKs - Just never got one to work right). I have heard many good posts about the Remora by AquaC. I have a bigger skimmer by them however that should do the job for ya.
