so this is a silly question maybe... can I use aquarium sealant to fix my sunglasses?

I have a pair of sunglasses that are some sort of plastic, and they have rubber nose pads. One of them fell off.

is there any reason I can't use some aquarium sealant to stick the nose pad back on there? iit's safe for fish, so it should be safe for something near my face right?

I don't need a reason why you couldn't. I've used super glue on a few pair and no ill effects
