my buddy has been battling ick for the past couple of months. this is his koran. i went to his house and took some pics. i know that it is not ich, i have seen ich(too many times) and know what that is. i think it may be a fungal infection. it looks to be mainly on his lower fins. there is some on his body too. looks almost like a grey cotton. the LFS told him to feed garlic and that would cure the problem. i dont know what his water parameters are, but i can tell you his livestock list if that helps.
2 snowflake eels
1 banded moray
1 maroon clown
1 koran angel
1 cleaner shrimp
1 coral banded shrimp
50-75 lbs of LR
20-30 blue leg hermits
All in a 75 gal aquarium.....he does not have a QT. If there is a solution that can be done in the main tank that is about his only option. TIA
