Hi everyone!

Need some help with water flow :) . I have a 200l tank, with 2 external filters. The spray bars are on the sides, under the surface, facing each other, (the holes are set at an angle of about 45°, facing up) the intakes are on the back, in the corners. Is this an optimal placement, or should I place the spray bars on the back, side by side, facing the front?

I prefer placing them on the back with the flow rolling off the front of the tank.

I find no matter what direction you place any filter output you will have a dead spot in the current. This spot is where lots of solids settle. The choice is yours if you want the solids ( poop etc) to settle in a spot you can see them and remove them often or if you want the spot to accumulate out of site in a difficult place to see and reach.

Try the output in one direction for a few weeks, then try something different.
Personally I like to know the poop is there.
