Stand size

Just curious if anyone knows if it would be safe to put a 6'x18" 150g aquarium on a 6'x2' stand without anything bad happening. It would be a basic stand that has a rim but is hollow in the center. Just wondering if that's enough area for the 150 to sit safely...

No, i would definitely make sure the stand was fit to the footprint of the tank. The corners of the tank should be directly supported underneath by the stand.
