sump for 100g

Im getting a new 100gal(60x18x24) and need to know how big i should go on the sump and pump. any suggestions?

40 gallon would be a good size. That`s what size I have. I`m not much on pumps but we would need to know what type overflow and how much GPH goes through them. I`m going to move this to appropiate forum.

You could try a 55 gal for a sump and section a part of it off for a refugium, so you would have the best of both filtration worlds and grow caluerpa and house copepods in the fuge.
