sump with over flow questions

ok so here is my problem i have a 60 gallon tank with a magaflow 2 sump underneath it. I have a hang on back over flow box and then i used pvc pipe to hook them together and now it makes loud bubble noises all the time its a constant flow but i was wondering how do i make it quite. right now i am running the sump and a canister filter so i can turn off the sump pump at night

any help would be nice

a gurrgling noise? my overflow does that too with the vacuum pump hooked up to it. is your sump full?

the problem is i have a hob over flow

and the sound it makes is the air being forced out and the bottom of the sump so its like and loud bubbling noise
