Was told this was 35 gal when I bought it used. I can't find any info with the dimensions. Looking for a glass lid or hood and this is my last hope before I use a container to fill it up so I can measure the gallons and then take it somewhere to have the glass custome made.

Any suggestions?

I come up with about 36gal so 35gal's fairly accurate. Use the rectangular section, 20"Lx17"Wx20"H /231 = 29gal. The two roughly rectangular ends can merge to become another roughly box shape so 10"x8"x20"/ 231 = about 7gal.

Note I get 8 by subtracting 20 from 28 = 8 inches / 2 = 4inches per end.

stretch hex tanks are rare, I had one a couple of years ago, and looking at your numbers, they are very close to what mine was, which was a 40 gallon. and if memory serves me correctly, Oceanic made them
