Hey everyone!
So I am just beginning to cycle a 55 gallon freshwater tank. I have an old, sturdy wooden desk that I was planning on using as a stand. It doesn’t really wobble except for side to side if I move it that way. I just wanted some opinions on whether or not this desk will be able to support the tank long term. If not, if anyone has any recommendations on an affordable 55 gallon stand let me know!
Thanks!

I would use cinder blocks and 3/4" plywood. That stand even looks unsafe.

That will NOT support the tank for long.
Water alone is 459 lbs plus gravel plus decor and equipment so between 500 & 600 lbs by the time it's all done.

No it will not . Check walmart or petsmart for a stand or do as suggested and use cinder blocks and plywood . That would be by far the cheapest way .

Ok good to know! Thank you guys for the input. I would much rather invest in a stand than have one hell of an expensive mess to clean up
