Since my post about lighting gel or photography gel I'm learning that alot of people don't know about this very cheap but absolutely great and easy to find and assemble,you can purchase them in a variety of colors and it depends on how dark or light you want your tank just add more layers of the gel I'm posting some pics of just 4 layers stack ( which is like 4 sheets of paper) the gels are about $6-12 the florescent lights about $12-30
