I've heard a lot of good reviews about ecoxotic's Panorama pros, and would love to get some for my biocube 29...however! I have heard that they burn out easily or it doesnt take long to burn out (3 months to a year). Does anyone have anything to say about this? Are they worth getting despite life duration as an upgrade to biocube stock lighting (10k bulbs)?

Unless you want to go with higher light corals, I'd stick with what you have. You mentioned heat in another thread. Why not just make the big jump? then you can keep whatever you want-

If you want to add strip lights, a friend of mine has had good results with those Reef Brite strips.
