Does anyone know if you can plug single socket timers into powerstrips? Are there any risks to know about?

Other than the fact that if you don't use an extension cord they'll block a lot of outlets, they work just fine in a powerstrip. Just remember that if you turn off your powerstrip, if you're using an analog timer the clock will stop, so to speak. So if you turn off power for an hour, the timer will be an hour behind schedule.

If you have a digital with a battery backup, that won't matter, obviously.

Thanks guys, my sump lights can now function properly. And work with what outlets I have. Thanks again.
