Unused equpiment ideas?

Hey I have a power head and a pump that just sit s under my tank stand and would really like to come up with a way of using them? Does anyone have any ideas of what I could use or make out of these? I have a 55g tank with A 4" jack Dempsey filtered by an AC 110 and 2 AC 50s

depends on the type and size. you could add them for water flow, but they really arent necessary. plus they could blow the substrate around if they are too large. you could also put in a sump to increase the water volume using a pvc overflow if the tank isnt drilled. (as long as the pump doesnt push water faster than the overflow can drain it)
