UV Sterilizers and Their Use in Aquaria

Not many people use them around here, they're just not that efficient really from what I've read. What purpose do you want one for?

cichchick79: I use them and I think they're great. I've always had trouble with cloudy water, none of the remedies worked for me so I tried the UV and since I've installed it, my water is crystal clean. After I vacuum the substrate it takes only a few minutes and the water is clear again.
