Water in my skimmer vent line?

I have skimmer that came with my tank- and about 2 weeks ago it seems there is some water in the little vent line that comes up from the "bubble pump" and its making a gargling noise.

I took the machine out and have vinegar running through it now - but is there anything I can do?

It usually salt creep or something like that. I always try to run fot water through mine and it clears up. Also moving this to the General hardware and equipment discussion.

Every time the skimmer is turned off water will get into that line. That isn't unusual. As Mike said running some hot water through it will clear it out. The gurgling sound may or may not go away.
