wet dry filter

hi guys !
what do you recommend for the most quiet and reliable pump for a wet/dry filter system ?

I've always used Quiet One pumps in mine, no complaints with noise levels or performance.

My diy works great but it is sightly on the louder side with the water rushing down the pvc pipes onto the first filter pad.
