what filter for a 36 gal freshwater??

I have a corner tank, its 36 gal. What type of filter should I get?? I was thinking a HOB and a power head with a sponge attachment?

I like the Marineland Penguin 350 filters. They do great up to a 55g tank..it'll run you about $45-$50

If you go through Amazon you could get a Penguin 350 for like 29 bucks then you can get a Internal as back up
