Will CO2 Drop Checker Detect Flourish Excel?

I recently started using Seachem’s Flourish Excel to boost plant growth. I also recently purchased a CO2 drop checker to monitor dissolved CO2 levels. The indicator is currently blue, meaning I have low CO2 levels. Will using Flourish Excel add dissolved CO2 to my aquarium and make the drop checker’s fluid turn green? Or will it have no effect on my drop checker’s reading? Thank you!

It doesn't add CO2, so your drop checker will remain blue.

Despite what is claimed on the bottle of Seachem Excel, there is no liquid CO2 in there. It's just an algaecide.
