Will this stand work?

Worth a try to take it apart and put it back together again, and sometimes it can take a few days for the slimy gunk to grow and kind of add some cushion, it seems to help to let the impeller get seated into the space.

I have a little AC filter and I had to leave the cover off of it because it was too loud. Out of about 6 of hte same filter I just left the lid off.

I've had every model they make from the little 20 to the 70. Never had such noise issues. Maybe it's the size of the 110 that makes it louder.
On a better note...I painted the ugly green intake tubes from my Eheim's and I can't believe the difference! I used Krylon Fusion, let it dry for about 2 days...no issues at all. I also painted my intake tubes on the AC. I've done that before in other tanks.
