Finally found true apple snail

Yay! I finally found me an apple snail today. I am so excited. I've been searching the net and local stores and finally found one. Now I am happy. Yay!

Where did you find it? How do you know its a true Apple Snail?

It's almost baseball size. I got it in Nashville, TN.

Baseball size?? Holy cow!!!

Must have been in a condition where it could do it's annual "hibernation" for it to live long enough to get that big.

I've got a moss ball that big! LOL. But my biggest apple is about the size of a large tangerine. Good find!
