My over populated Convict Cichlids

How often should I feed them since there are so many of them?

Once a day should be fine

They always act like they are starving. EVERY time I walk up to or even by the tank they swim to the top wanting fed.

Another question....the water is a light green even though I do 20% water changes. Should I do them every day?

You could, sounds like algea, maybe reduce your light by an hour... And fish always act hungry.. The amount your feeding them should be fine.

O and if they are really hungry they'll eat stuff off the bottem of the tank
