Wanted to hook up my old fish tank. Here is my pictures and progress...
Back in 2013 I started with an empty tank which had no stand. I found some pics online of easy to build aquarium stands and I copied what I saw
I think it turned out quite nice.
I had this tank setup for a about a year it had the gravel and blue background you see in the pic below with plastic plants. Unfortunately, I haven't tracked down a picture of the tank with this old setup. This is a recent picture of me setting it up again. (but changed my mind mid process)
At this point I did not like the gravel and background that I had used in the past and I have also decided last minute I wanted to try a planted tank for the first time.
Wasting water I drained the tank back down and cleared the gravel out.
The next day I bought black paint and painted the back of the tank I also spent a bunch of money and placed my order for a new filter, power head, heater, temp gauge, eco-complete substrate, driftwood, and (splurged) Current Satellite + Pro 36-48 LED light
Today my 2 day shipping (Prime) Amazon order came in
Expecting my Eco-Complete substrate will be here tomorrow ( I hope 3 bags will be enough)
My Light will arrive soon after
