Tank redone

So I'm a newbie to this hobby. I'm loving it so far! When I first started out I had gravel substrate and lots of colorful fake plants. Today I took a few hours and switched everything over to black sand substrate and green plants only. Once I'm a little more into the hobby I would like to try real plants but for now I love my tank so much better!



This was before with colorful plants and airstones.





This is after with the green plants only and the airstones removed.

Black diamond blasting sand 20/40 from tractor supply. 50 lb bag for $7.99

I wish I would have thought about it prior to spending quite a bit on all this gravel! Oh well live and learn I guess. I love the black sand waaaaay better!
