what kind of water chemicals do you use?

Well alot of that depends on how your water tests look.
usually Aqua- plus is a safe bet after a water change.

what are your water stats anyway you may have better luck finding out if you need some extra chems or not.

usually all u really need is a good dechlorinator, every thing else is solved by water changes unless ur tank has some specific requirements.
 
I'm on well water so no need for declorinator. I don't use anything in my FW tanks. I used to use PH 7.0 until I found that it wasn't necessary.

I use aquarium pharmacuticals melafix and stress coat for new fish and sick fish, and aquarium pharmacuticals tap water conditioner for water changes. Sometimes I'll get the ammo-lock when needed.
