HI,
Thought I would introduce myself.
We kept freshwater fish for about 2 yrs and then decided to go head first into salt water.
We purchased a 2nd hand 6 footer as we were not sure if this hobby was something we would stay in, we had heard a lot of people start and dont continue.
Well the bug got us. Not only did we stay in the hobby (so addicted) 12 months later we decided to rebuild, with a design that suited us better and take out all the flaws we hated about the 2nd hand tank we had bought.
This first picture of the first tank we bought the first week we set it up.
We laugh now because we were so chuffed, and thought it looked amazing.

The second picture is of the same tank 18 months later.

Thats when we decided to build a new Penninsular tank and use as a room divider.

Tank 7 x 2.5 x 2.5
Sump. 6 x 2 5 chamber (1 foot ato storage)
160kg live rock in DT
100kg live rock in Sump
ATI 8 x 80w programmable
Deltec TC2060 skimmer
2 x Maxpect Gyer 150's
3 x tlf 150 reactors, carbon and 2 rowaphos
Debary 25w UV
Marine magic 3 channel doser
Laguna 6000lt/hr return pump
Bean animal plumbing
Natural salt water only

The move over from old to new was incredibly hard. Trying to get the scape to look nice on both sides was a nightmare.
Took 16hrs just to scape, didn't help that we had forgotten to get any putty so each rock had to be assembled like a lego block and just sit securely. We had a slight mini cycle that lasted about 10 days but lost no stock.
Used seachem prime and Stability daily for 2 weeks.

Here are some pictures of the tank about 3 months after upgrade.
It still has a lot of growing out to do, but is a work in progress.

Thanks for the welcome.
I dont quite understand the 'I don't see bean in new "
here are some pics of the plumbing.
I will put up some shots of the individual bommie scapes too if you would like to see.
The plumbing is all hidden around the corner in a little alcove, so makes it look a lot more attractive.

Very well hidden and even better done!(y)
the bean was easy to see in first set up as it appeared to be CTC.
Very nice improvements!

What does CTC mean ?
sorry still newbie here ?

Coast To Coast.
Almost end to end ...

Oh, thats funny, if you had just said coast to coast i would have got ya. Never seen it abbreviated like that.
Yea thats one of the biggest changes, internal vs external.
That first tank was impossible to keep clean, couldnt reach the back wall at all. We honestly find that if things are designed to be easier you more likely to do more often.
We have set up siphon water changes in this new tank too.
We can do 300lts in 15 mins and not even get our hands wet.
Sooo hard to do changes in old tank.
