So here's my Zoa collection so far...I'm wanting to try to do a Zoa garden once my collection grows more and I get rid of this phosphate problem. Oh and my hammer coral I also just got.

Help! I've lost control of plant growth in my tank. It's not hair algae so I'm not sure what to do. This stuff is well rooted into the rocks and grows rapidly. It's tried to choke out some corals but I've managed to save them so far. I can keep it trimmed back off the sand so I moved all of my coral there, but I miss using my rock work. How can I get rid of this stuff? And what is it exactly?

There are two different plants growing.

Anyone have a way to get rid of this plant growth? It's dug in and taking over.

looks like caulpueria not sure I spelled it right

that stuff grows like a weed

almost impossible get get it under control

Yea after more research I'm feeling sad about fighting this stuff :(

It does look like calerpa. Either pull it out by hand or if your tank is big enough you could get a yellow tang.

Well my tank is only a 40g breeder so the tang is a no go unless I just borrow one for a little while. I worked in it today by pulling handful after handful out but I couldn't get all of it. :(
