does he sleep in coral or the rock where you could lift the piece out with him in it?
like I said, that has been the easiest method I've found for them and triggers.

Not that I'm aware of. You see, I bought a couple hundred pounds of Totoka rock, which looks like mostly sps skeletons. These boxes were filled with many medium size pieces, and i just put them in a giant pile in the center of the tank before I added sand, then i added the contents of my 105 on top, and those were mostly large pieces. Finally I added a few huge pieces that came along with the fish. What all this means is that there are literally catacombs all through that rock that are impossible to map out. This fish could be going 18" into the pile for all I know.

Bite the bullet and get or make a fish trap. That's the only way to get him and not kill him at this point. JMO.

I made a simple baited one with a door that drops by gravity and is held up with a piece of fishing line tied back to my easy chair. When I saw the offending fish enter the trap, I just released the line. Presto.

I've done something similar. It may take ALOT of patience and time, so the easy chair sounds like where I messed up. LOL. Some fish are smarter than others and more hesitant, so doing expect to get it the first day. I would leave it in there and release your food into it for a few days to entice them and let the fish get comfortable with it. Monkey see, monkey do... hopefully. Best of luck Doug!

Just a few randoms I took. I got a few new items. Please excuse the red planaria infestation. They will wipe themselves out over time.

I picked up a few carpet anemones, and some basic Aussie stuff.

I also got a nice, big one for the Devon Fitness Club's maroon clown, which I'll be putting in later today-

Na...one is grey with red center, and another is orange and red, and there's a maroon and red one....that blue is just the light.

Nothing much Dary...and it's majanos, not aptasia. They are everywhere. Luckily no one notices them but me....but they are driving me crazy. Do you guys think that electric wand is 100% effective?

My error sorry , either way it's a pita,.. Woulda nudibranch eat'em ?

Paul B. designed them, he's the guy with the 40 year old reef. The "Wand" doesn't really electrocute the anemone so much as it causes a tiny localized breakdown (electrolysis) of the SW into H2 and O2 with a tiny, tiny bit of chlorine being created. You'll see it bubble at the tip of the probe when you trip the switch. And yes, that nukes them.

Doug, I'm jealous. That "Superman Scoly" is awesome. I've been waiting for a year for my lfs to get one.

Same. I saw one but it wasn't in the best of shape...I'm glad I didn't try to cut a deal and try to save it with all the stupid crap that went on in my tank recently. All beautiful pieces.

Considering what Doug has to do to clean up that tank , for about $ 130 it may be the bargain of the year if it works as advertised
