No I haven't used it. I may have not done the test right the first time. But I shook it after every drop and it took 11 to turn it colors

That shouldn't change it, just keep your eye on it. I use the same water for top off. I use their ro/di salt water for my water changes. It's conceivable that their water has a higher KH value.

Test it in the morning again. Ideally you want it at 420. Don't raise it from as low as it was all the way to 420 too fast. Tomorrow will be fine if its still a little low.

Unless its almost 420 then add a partial cap. You'll know how much 1 cap raised it after you test it.

Yeah, just try not to get too much sand. You may loose a little so don't worry.

:'( no luck at all. I've focus fed it for over a week. Put thawed out marine cuisine in every opening and it still didn't open.
