Is it okay to mine every two weeks or do I need to do it every week?

As long as nitrates don't get to high I don't see why not.

I meant how are they doing.

Oh haha I'm dumb. Um it's doing well! A bit of hair algae but nothing serious, all corals are doing great.

I hope to be getting corals soon! My kessil will be in Monday!

So, I got my skimmer today and started breaking it in. My sump is to deep for the skimmer to sit on the bottom so I set it kinda on top of the return pump. I hope that's not a huge problem. Called BRS and they said it could take up to 3 days for it to break in and stop overflowing. Also once if breaks in they said it will stop putting out micro bubbles. So I got it running now. Also, the spotted cardinals are finally taking Mysis shrimp and the Blenny is up and down the rocks eating hair algae and diatoms.

Use egg crate and make a stand. I would think a skimmer on the return pump would be noisy.

It's running now and I can hardly hear it

For the person with the kessil, how high was it from the water line?

Mines 6" above but I have the smaller kessil.
