me too thanks!

If you keep looking I'm sure you'll find some good ones that are aipastia free.
Always makes me wonder how a shop can actually put for sale items like that. The least they could do is try to get rid of them before selling em.

I don't think you are supposed to have the carbon and gfo in the same reactor. :-(

I've had carbon and gfo in my reactor for many months. Works great! There's even special instructions for it in the reactor manual lol.

It does lol. Just saw a brs tv video on the reactor and it shows them separate like I have them. 2 reactors would probably be BEST but I'm sure I'll benefit a ton from this

Having carbon and GFO running together is just like running chemi pure elite. Definitely nothing wrong with running them together. I'm finding that running bio plastics and chemi pure elite, separated, but in the same reactor, is a challenge. I may be getting a second reactor soon to separate them.

Just dropped a battery in a bucket of water while mixing salt into it. I shined a little light into the water to see if the salt had dissolved yet and a battery dropped in lol. Is this water bad now or can I still use it?

Just bought a bubble tip anemone! A lfs guy told me to just temp acclimate him because if you drip, he makes slime that turns into ammonia and can kill it. How should I acclimate my new anemone?

Try to make sure your params are spot on, I know most people recommend a mature and established tank (8mo - 1 yr) before attempting a nem. I hope he does well for you!

My anemone is looking great. Not terrible though. He's a little shriveled up and when I turned off my big powerhead to feed (as always), he went in pretty quick. Hes at the top of the tank right under 96watts of t5. I fed him mysis and brine shrimp 3 times this week. My parameters are...
Sg- in between 1.025 and 1.026
Ph-7.8
Ammo-0
Nitrite-0
Nitrate-roughly 10 ghetto API test kit

The only thing I can think of is the nitrates or ph. I'm mixing water for a pwc to get rid of some nitrates. But my ph has never been a problem for anything else in the tank. Anybody know?
