Thought I would make this as my tanks only been set-up 4 days ago. Hopefully this should help keep track of things.

So far I have had problems with my light over heating my tank, now I have a LED light bar across the top which is working pretty well.

Nice, I have always kept big tanks and the more I see the nanos the more I want to try one! Good start to yours though!

Cool setup. Looking forward to see your tank progress! What size is the tank and what do you want to keep in it?

so my tanks still over heating does anyone know if a pc fan would work to keep the temp down

Gonna try and do a diy chiller using an old pc radiator or powered esky

Could always try a clip on fan blowing over surface of water. Should work if its only couple if degrees. How hot is the tank?

iv sorted it now I had a think about what to add and I think im going to go with one clown and a hermit crab and thats all

so after my tank was moved to a better suited tank its finaly cycled so yesterday I added a juvie clown and a hermit but i aslo see what i think was a fire goby an a red sea star was thinkin about getting them to but thought id wait it out a bit get some more live rock. Im also consodering turning my freshwater 40g display tank in to a marine tank

I would avoid the star until your tank is more established or it may starve.

alright Il hold out for another month or 2

thought I would post a pic of my lil buddies
