Beautiful tanks. How do you like the blk sand? I have it mixed with my ls, and like it alot.

Except for the fact it is a bear to keep clean, I like it alot.

Any problem with pH or chemistry? Since, as I understand it, the black sand does not buffer the system. Correct?

And what do you mean by hard to keep clean?

I have ph issues in all 8 of the tanks..black sand in only this one. I cant really blame it on the sand.

As far as keeping clean, it shows up every little piece of detritus etc that drops onto the sand.
