Did some work tonight...moved the live rock in from my holding tank and think I got a rocks cape I can live with. Not a lot of caves, but this will be mostly corals and small fish/gobies, so I think it will work. I will take pics in the morning. I also got the sump set up and filled, turned on the NAC5 skimmer (very quiet), but did not turn on the Mag Drive to get the tank and sump going. I'm just too tired and wanted more time to tweak and adjust when needed.

I'm starting to move the frags in from the holding tank little by little. Threw in three mushrooms, a Grandis Paly and a green star polyp tonight. I want all frags out this week, as I am considering trying to get a Majestic Angel juvenile within the next couple weekends and I don't want it snacking on anything when it goes in holding/QT.

I'm thinking about getting a ruby red dragonette. They're gorgeous and a nice change from seeing regular mandarins.

Here are a few random shots with the frags in. Not terribly exciting with everything so small, but I'm excited to finally have it up and running.

The only thing not doing great is my Grandis Palys. They were fine the first few days... Opened up and looked good and then they decided to close up and I have not seen them open the last couple days (they are in the center of that last shot).

It's looking great, I like the rock work.

As long as your parameters are in check, I'm sure they'll open up soon enough.

Thanks. I checked parameters this morning and all is well. Everything else looks great and my Blue Tubs Zoas are even opening up more than in the other tank. I'm thinking of moving them a little lower to see if that helps. They've never done this, in either tank, so we will see that happens..,

The Grandis Palys are back open and looking good again...

I added a couple new frags this weekend. LA Lakers Zoas (bad pic, but they are purple and yellow) and a chalice (I'm not 100% sure which it is though...kinda grayish/blue with orange eyes).

I haven't seen the Leopard Wrasse for a couple days now. Used to always be out swimming when I woke up and then would go bury itself around 6:00pm. It was eating great, so I'm not sure what happened.

The Ruby Red Dragonette is doing good. Seems to hide a bit more than at first, but she is still making appearances.

I'm trying to decide what to add next...thinking of doing a Rainsford Goby and something else, just can't decide.

Well, the Leopard Wrasse is still MIA, so I'm assuming it died. I was at the fish store today getting salt and they had a Chalk Bass. My father passed away on 6/27/06 and was a bass fisherman (actually ranked in CA) so even though it is a totally different kind of bass, it was a must-have purchase. It is acclimating now and I will try to get pics tomorrow.
