Got our powerheads today!! Yay!

We are getting our water + LR Sunday, so excited! It's all coming together!!

The powerheads put out 3000 L/H each!

Check it out!! Ignore the blatant fire hazard of cabling behind as the leads for the powerheads are way to short and they gave us a ridiculous adapter for a two pin to a three pin which is so loose, will be changing before long!!

Just filled it up with water!

Believe it not there is 11kg of live rock and will hopefully be getting another 10kg very soon! I'm happy so far!!

Just got the protein skimmer up and running, took forever to get the bloody water level right!! When I first turned it on it overflowed and went everywhere!! Looks like a lot of particles are coming out of the outlet pipe, is this normal/part of the priming process?!

I think you should try to inter lace the rock with the ship. make it look as it the rock made the damage to the boat.

Been playing around with the LR, more tricky then it looks to create a stable display!!

That is a good idea to try and interlace some LR with the ship, will give it a go when we get some more. I don't think we will try and move the ship from it's current position as I'm quite happy with it, also what you can't see is that each part comes moulded to a base part which looks a bit rubbish so I covered it in sand.

Wow I see great potential for getting some coralline algae to put beautiful colors on that ship and having some corals growing out of the holes on that ship. Great idea...Can't wait to see it full of life. Kinda jealous you get the live view.

the tank i hate all that deco stuff but for some reason it works in yours it made me do a 180 your param's look good to toss a pinch of fish food in there and test daily it look like your cycled

The ship may be our centrepiece but we are hopefully getting twice as much LR as what's there at the moment soon plus will be blending it in with time!

A lot of people have said that is what would look fantastic on the ship, it is something we are eventually going to do but we are complete novices so we are building up slowly and getting as much experience as possible before taking that step!
