Angelfish breeding

Trying to breed my angelfish pair and they do great exept they eat the wigglers every time they hatch... What should I do? They lay their eggs on a broken heater. They are in a breeding tank by themselves

Have you offered them a slate or plant? Most angels wont parent raise leaving you to do the work

The light is pretty low in their tank though. So idk about plants maybe Java fern. They have slate

If you want them to spawn on the slate it should be up to almost the top of your aquarium

+1. Our pair wouldn't spawn until we gave them a 12" slate instead of 6"

Mine spawned on 2 in x 1 in leaf instead of the slate in the tank.
