Hi this may be a silly question but could anyone tell me if large bristle nose catfish could or would eat 1week old red forrest jewel fry?

If that's a type of cichlid, I'm pretty sure the parents would defend the fry. Plecos are not likely to eat fry.

If a forest jewel is like the red jewel they are pretty dang aggressive and will defend they're young and harass the Pleco. The Pleco wouldn't be trouble either as long as you fed it at it's normal expected time

Yep the parents are very protective, but i should have mentioned that i was meaning the fry in a tank after being seperated from parents.
