I tried the tubing on the sides of the divider but they were still able to get by it. I have a 3/4" tubing that I plan on trying to see if that works. I figure I can adjust that to the edge of the tank and they won't be able to get by it.

Hi everyone,

I bred two of my bettas at home. Let me just say WOW! the babies are microscopic in size. I need a magnifying glass just to see them. Ok here is the issue, how do you clean the tank without sucking up these microscopic babies? Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.

Siphon with some airline tubing into a bucket. When your done, use a flashlight to see if you have sucked up any babies.

This is ALSO a great way to transfer babies into a new tank etc.

Make sure you have a big line then because if they hit the side of the tubing it's like major rug burn
