I want to start breeding bettas. I am going to buy professionally breed males and females (from aquabid) and I was told that you could breed in a 10g but I really want to do it in a 20g long because I know thats better for the fish and fill it up like a quarter full. I will also need indian almond leaves and a sponge filter. I know to not use gravel or sand. I know I should feed them high protein diets but what exactly does that entitle? Blood worms? And for a heater should I get 25 watt or will that be too much? Also when I separate the fry when they start to be agressive, should I put them in individual 1g's orrrr? I just need a lot of advice since this is my first time breeding. Thanks! :D :thanks::fish1:

I strongly suggest you read the following article: breeding bettas

There are 4 parts to the article on the left side. You should read them all. This will answer most, if not all, your questions. Good luck (y)
