Blue Ram eggs are white

Is it normal for Blue Ram eggs to be white? They were laid approx two days ago.

I believe most fish eggs are relatively transparent if they are healthy and fertile. White eggs are usually either infertile or infected with fungus. Good parent fish often eat these eggs to protect the rest from infection. However, aquarium breeds like blue rams often lose the good parenting skills that their wild counterparts have. Also it sometimes takes young fish several tries before they get the hang of it and finally raise some babies. I wouldn't expect these eggs to hatch but you might have some luck later.
