Hi gang!

I have a planted 40 gallon long community tank.. My show fish are GBR's and Apisto' Caucatoides. There's plenty of opportunity for them to breed in the tank..I't low stress, temp' is 80f, water parameters are fine, and their diet is high protein blood worms. I've had fry of both species in the past without even trying. Here I am years later with boat loads more aquarium experience ,and I just can't get them to breed. I also have a 15 gallon cube tank for hospital or a nursery tank or what not if needed. Should I put the pairs in the small tank to mate versus leaving them in the community to do their thing?.. I would like to raise and sell the offspring to offset the aquarium expenses. I appreciate any tips. Happy tanking!

Need to mimic their natural habitats to encourage/sustain breeding. Ro water will be fundamental. Removing fry and raising separate will require live baby brine shrimp.
