Breeding assassin snails?

I have a few assassin snails in my planted 30 gallon tank. I have noticed two of he snails kinda locked up at the shell for a good hour or so... Are they breeding?

Could be..... I've seen the same behavior in mine and knew that if it resulted in young, that the young would stay beneath the substrate for months..... sure enough, within the last week, I saw a little itty bitty assassin climbing up the side of the tank.

maybe? i am pretty sure assassin snails are asexual? but they reproduce very slowly
i started with 2 two months ago and only have 5 total now
