Breeding in Groups or Pairs

So I own 8 Ember Tetras, which are .8 in long small orange colored tetras. I put 4 females in my hospital tank and 4 males in my main tank and I have been trying to have the best water quality and feeding them a mix of foods like bloodworms. Now my question is how long should I condition them and do breed in them in pairs or just put them all in the same tank as a group spawn?
